Next Tuesday, 14.8., 10:00-11:00, Dr. Igel, the Management Director of the Centre for e-Learning Technology (CeLTech), will give a talk on "15 Years e-Learning Research: From Learning with Technologies to Augmented Learning".

From 2007-2010, Dr Igel was the Scientific Director of the Competence Center “Virtual Saar University” of Saarland University. Since 2010, he is the Management Director of the Centre for e-Learning Technology (CeLTech) of Saarland University and the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI). His R&D subjects are e-learning; advanced studies in e-learning; instructional design theory and empirical findings; process modelling in education technology; learning and content management; mobile learning technology development; distance learning and continuing education; implementation of e-learning technology in higher education development and life long learning.
